ECU Health is looking for experienced nurses for internal travel opportunities in the Trauma Surgical Intermediate Unit (TSIU) at our Level I Trauma Center in Greenville, NC.

Unit details
- 40-bed flex unit (general and intermediate)
- Staffing ratios: 1:4 RN-to-Patient
- Primary population: Isolated and multisystem trauma secondary to motor vehicle crashes, falls, gunshot wounds, stabs, and animal/snake bites, traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, bone fractures, complex wounds, kidney and pancreas transplants, emergent laparoscopic cholecystectomy/splenectomy/appendectomy, and small bowel obstructions.

Minimum requirements
- Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing or higher. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Greater than 1 year of nursing experience is required
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is required

Compensation package
- Base pay: up to $70/hour for all travel nursing positions
- 1.5x base hourly rate for overtime (over 40 hours) and holiday pay
- Additional $3.00/hour for stand-by pay and $2.00/hour for charge/preceptor pay
