  • Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, safety, and appropriateness, consulting with healthcare providers when necessary.

  • Educate patients on the proper use, dosage, and potential side effects of medications, promoting adherence to prescribed treatments.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop, monitor, and optimize medication therapy.

  • Maintain patient records and ensure the accurate documentation of medication orders, interactions, and patient responses.

  • Advise patients and healthcare professionals on medication interactions, contraindications, and potential adverse reactions.

  • Monitor and manage medication inventories, ensuring the availability of essential medications and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of drug utilization protocols and clinical guidelines.

  • Stay current with developments in pharmacology, medication safety, and emerging pharmaceutical technologies.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.

  • Education : Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
  • \n
  • Licensure : Current licensure as a Pharmacist from the appropriate state board of pharmacy.

  • Certification : Advanced certifications (e.g., Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy or specialty certifications) may be preferred, depending on the practice setting.

  • Experience : Previous experience in pharmacy practice
