Position: Pastor
Location: Union Baptist Church, Charles City, Virginia

Position Overview:
Union Baptist Church, a historic Bible-based congregation founded in 1862, is seeking a Pastor to lead our church in spiritual growth, community outreach, and discipleship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preaching & Teaching: Deliver biblically sound sermons and lead Bible studies that align with Christian doctrine.


• Pastoral Care: Provide counseling, visitations, and support to church members and their families.


• Leadership: Oversee church ministries, collaborate with deacons and ministry leaders, and guide the congregation in fulfilling its mission.


• Administration: Manage church operations, including staff coordination, budgeting, and strategic planning.


• Community Engagement: Foster relationships with local organizations and lead outreach initiatives to serve the broader community.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of five years in pastoral ministry with demonstrated leadership and preaching experience.


• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.


• Education: Must possess a degree from an accredited college, have extensive experience under a Senior Pastor in training to become a Pastor, or possess experience commensurate for executing the title of Pastor.

Compensation:

• Salary: $30K (Negotiable)


• Benefits: Negotiable
