Massage Therapist - Hospice at Interim HealthCare of the Twin Cities summary:

A Hospice Massage Therapist provides comfort touch massage therapy to hospice and palliative care patients, following physician orders and interdisciplinary care plans. They conduct initial patient evaluations, assess needs, and document services accurately. This role involves flexible scheduling and traveling to patients' homes to improve their quality of life in end-of-life care settings.

As a Hospice Massage Therapist, you will have a meaningful role and make a difference in the lives of our patients to help find comfort when it's needed most.

Some functions of what you would do as a Hospice Massage Therapist

• Conduct initial evaluation, assessing & identifying patient’s needs.
• Provides comfort touch massage therapy services to patients in accordance with physician’s orders and the interdisciplinary group (IDG) plan of care with a focus on a hospice and palliative care approach.
• Completes and submits accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy services provided.

A few must-haves for this position: 

• Successful completion of post secondary course of study from an accredited/licensed school for Massage Therapy
• One year of Massage Therapy experience required.
• Hospice massage therapy experience preferred.
• Able to travel within a geographic area serviced by office. Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.
• CPR Certification required.
