This position will lead the HR function for the site and report directly to the Gas Turbine Division HR Manager. The site has approximately 100 employees, and the incumbent will partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals, fostering a positive work culture and supporting growth. Responsibilities include employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, data analytics, talent management, compensation, and engagement initiatives. We seek talent aspiring to grow into an HR Manager role in the future. Core Responsibilities Recruitment: Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing positions and temporary roles, including handling online systems, scheduling interviews, and liaising with staffing agencies, hiring managers, and candidates. Partner with hiring managers to create job descriptions and make hiring recommendations. Coordinate with Meggitt Talent Center of Excellence for filling full-time, exempt roles. Maintain metrics on time to fill in accordance with site targets. Employee Relations: Conduct and document investigations of employee relations issues. Provide guidance to managers on resolving employee issues and managing low performers. Use the Meggitt Employee Handbook when recommending disciplinary actions. Assist managers in delivering performance management tools such as coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans. Training, Worker’s Compensation, and Leaves of Absence: Monitor training progress, organize sessions for non-computer employees, and track completion. Maintain the site Training Matrix for audits. Manage Worker’s Compensation and Leave of Absence items (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, PDL). General HR Duties: Have working knowledge of employee benefit programs. Assist with Open Enrollment. Generate reports to support payroll, performance, and diagnostics. Support HR processes like performance management and compensation planning. Coordinate employee engagement events and meetings. Conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews. Participate in HR-related projects and cross-functional teams. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Specifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in HR, Psychology, Business/Management, or related fields. Certification: SHRM or equivalent required. Experience: Minimum 3 years in aerospace and/or manufacturing environment. Skills: Analytical and technical skills to understand business practices and recommend solutions. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal). Strong employee relations, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
