What You'll Do: Be the go-to person for employee questions and HR support. Manage recruiting, from job posting to offer letters. Lead engaging onboarding and orientation experiences. Maintain employee files and manage HRIS updates. Support benefits enrollment and assist with employee leave tracking. Guide managers through performance reviews and coaching conversations. Help shape our employee culture through recognition and inclusion efforts. Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries and provide guidance in accordance with company policies and employment law. Assist in full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and facilitating offers. Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a welcoming experience. Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure confidentiality of personnel data. Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, leave tracking, and 401(k) plans. Support performance management processes including goal setting, feedback, evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Partner with managers and supervisors to foster employee engagement, retention, and professional development. Coordinate and maintain training programs and learning initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices. Assist with HR initiatives such as employee recognition, diversity and inclusion programs, wellness initiatives, and training sessions. Plan and support employee events, recognition programs, and morale-building activities. Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, empathy, and fairness. Assist the HR Director with ad-hoc HR initiatives and projects Position Requirements Qualifications: 3+ years in an HR Generalist role, preferably in food service, hospitality, or similar high-paced industries Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Paychex) Strong understanding of labor law and HR compliance practices Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Compensation & Benefits: Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000/year (based on experience) Annual Bonus: Up to 2.5%-6.5% of base salary, based on individual and company performance metrics.
