We are searching for an enthusiastic, service-focused hotel front desk agent to join our guest services team. You’ll welcome guests, manage accounts, answer inquiries, and field complaints to ensure we deliver an excellent experience to every guest. Responsibilities: • Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests’ needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs • Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready • General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date • Field customer complaints when necessary • Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information • Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Qualifications: • High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred • Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours during a typical shift • Please only apply if you meet each of these criteria Compensation: $14 - $15 hourly • Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Aloft Newport on the Levee
