We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with our pediatric dentists to provide high-quality dental care to children, utilizing your expanded functions to enhance patient care and efficiency.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist pediatric dentists during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Perform expanded functions as permitted by Colorado state regulations, including placing and finishing restorations, taking impressions, and applying sealants.
• Manage infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and preparing treatment areas.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with safety standards.
• Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Ensure a positive and comfortable experience for young patients during their visits.
