Overview Estate Manager Position - San Francisco and Napa Job Overview: We are seeking an exceptional Estate Manager to oversee the operations of two private estates-one in San Francisco and one in Napa-for a busy corporate couple. The Estate Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of both households and handling various tasks, including staff management, project coordination, vendor oversight, and maintaining the overall organization of the properties. The ideal candidate is highly reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a proven track record in estate management. The hired candidate will work closely with the client and their family, ensuring clear and open communication, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring the properties are impeccably maintained and managed. Main Responsibilities: Oversee the operations of the two homes in San Francisco and Napa, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Manage a small staff, including payroll approval and training. Coordinate home projects and manage vendors, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the client's specifications. Create and establish efficient processes for household operations and maintenance. Oversee and maintain the proper upkeep of household vehicles. Coordinate and communicate with the client's extended family as needed. Communicate effectively by navigating the client's busy schedule and providing weekly updates, ensuring the client stays informed without requiring daily communication. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in household management, with proven longevity in previous roles with private employers. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with principals, guests, and staff members. Familiarity with Bay Area vendors, service providers, and suppliers is an advantage. Knowledge of inventory management and procurement practices. Ability to provide hands-on service and lead by example when necessary. A passion for creating and maintaining a well-functioning, beautiful, and comfortable home environment. Discretion and respect for privacy are essential in this role. Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and manage a team effectively. Highly dependable, reliable, and proactive with a strong ability to work independently while maintaining seamless communication with the client. Experience managing small teams and overseeing household staff with a focus on maintaining a positive work environment! Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Valid driver's license is required, and a company vehicle will be provided. Candidates must be local to the Bay Area. Schedule: Remote + Onsite The schedule is primarily Monday-Friday, with some flexibility required. The Estate Manager will spend time at both San Francisco and Napa properties. Compensation & Benefits: Salary: 185K-200K annually | depending on experience. Health care reimbursement provided by the client. 12 vacation days. Sick leave as required by law. Major holidays off.
