Developer Relations Engineer As a Developer Relations Engineer, you will be a critical link between our technology and the developers building on it. Your mission is to foster a vibrant developer community, create exceptional tools and resources, and showcase the transformative potential of Nexus's platform. Responsibilities Community Engagement : Build and nurture a thriving developer ecosystem by actively engaging with developers through forums, Discord, GitHub, and social media platforms. Technical Advocacy : Represent Nexus in developer communities by delivering compelling talks, hosting workshops, and participating in conferences to share our vision and technology. Educational Resources : Create clear, engaging technical documentation, tutorials, blog posts, and videos that simplify complex topics like zero-knowledge proofs, smart contracts, and Web3 development. Developer Tools : Collaborate with engineering teams to build tools, SDKs, and APIs that enhance the developer experience and streamline integration with the Nexus platform. Feedback Loops : Act as a conduit between developers and Nexus's product and engineering teams, ensuring developer needs and pain points shape our roadmap. Open-Source Advocacy : Promote and contribute to open-source projects, encouraging external contributions and showcasing the benefits of Nexus's open-source ecosystem. Metrics-Driven Growth : Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) for developer engagement, adoption, and satisfaction, using these insights to continuously improve outreach and tooling. Event Leadership : Organize and lead Nexus-focused developer events, such as hackathons, webinars, and meetups, to inspire and support the next wave of innovators. Requirements Experience : 5+ years of experience in developer relations, software engineering, or a similar technical advocacy role. Technical Expertise : Proficiency in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Rust, with a deep understanding of blockchain technologies and smart contract development. Communication Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with experience simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. Developer Tools : Experience building or working with SDKs, APIs, or command-line tools for developers. Web3 Knowledge : Familiarity with zero-knowledge proofs, decentralized systems, and blockchain ecosystems like Ethereum, Solana, ICP, Aptos, Near. Community Building : Proven track record of engaging with developer communities, fostering collaboration, and creating a sense of belonging. Bonus Points Open Source Leadership : Contributions to open-source projects or experience maintaining community-driven repositories. Event Expertise : Experience organizing developer events, from small meetups to large-scale hackathons or conferences. Educational Content : A strong portfolio of technical blog posts, tutorials, or video content tailored for developers. Web3 Development : Hands-on experience with Web3 frameworks, libraries (e.g., ethers.js, Web3.js), and blockchain interaction tools. Zero-Knowledge Proficiency : Knowledge of zero-knowledge proof frameworks and their applications in Web3 development.
