Your Role

As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will provide leadership, education, and consultation in clinical areas to enhance patient care and ensure compliance with regulations. You’ll develop educational curricula, coordinate staff orientation, and implement quality improvement strategies while fostering a culture of inquiry among nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care within Intensive Care Units and Step Down Units.
• Assess the quality of care for specific patient populations.
• Coordinate and implement nursing staff orientation programs.
• Collaborate with medical providers and staff to deliver effective educational curricula.
• Monitor trends and implement educational strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Participate in teaching and coaching of staff nurses and healthcare professionals.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to improve clinical procedures and patient care delivery.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A BSN from an accredited university and a current Registered Nurse license in Connecticut.
• A minimum of five years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing management in an acute care setting.
• Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
• A commitment to maintaining clinical competency and confidentiality.
