Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will:

• Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care in Intensive Care Units and Step Down Units.
• Assess and improve the quality of care for specific patient populations.
• Coordinate and implement orientation programs for nursing staff.
• Collaborate with medical providers and unit management to develop and deliver educational curricula.
• Monitor trends and implement educational strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Act as a resource for nurses and healthcare professionals, providing guidance based on evidence-based practices.
• Engage in both formal and informal teaching, fostering a spirit of inquiry and professional development.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A BSN from an accredited university (Master’s Degree preferred).
• A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
• At least five years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing management in an acute care setting.
• Strong leadership skills , attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
• A commitment to maintaining clinical competency and confidentiality.
