Your Role

As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will:

  • Assess care quality and facilitate professional growth among nursing staff.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A BSN from an accredited university (Master’s preferred).
  • A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
  • At least five years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing management in an acute care setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Essential Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Enhancing specialized patient care within Intensive Care and Step Down Units.
  • Coordinating and implementing nursing staff orientation and competency programs.
  • Collaborating with medical providers and unit management to deliver effective educational curricula.
  • Monitoring trends and implementing educational strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Acting as a resource for clinical practice interventions that improve outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Participating in teaching and coaching for staff nurses, graduate nursing students, and other healthcare professionals.
