Your Role

As a Clinical Nurse Educator , you will provide clinical expertise and educational leadership to elevate patient care and support our dedicated nursing staff. Your focus on compliance and quality improvement will be pivotal in shaping our educational curricula and nursing staff orientations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care in Intensive Care and Step Down Units.
  • Assess and improve the quality of care for specific patient populations.
  • Coordinate and implement nursing staff orientations, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Collaborate with medical providers and nursing staff to develop and deliver educational curricula.
  • Monitor trends and implement educational strategies to maintain compliance with quality standards.
  • Participate in teaching and coaching staff nurses, graduate nursing students, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Act as a change agent, advocating for staff and promoting evidence-based practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: BSN from an accredited university; Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Licensure: Valid RN license in Connecticut.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing management in an acute care setting.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
